Happy Easter – For God Is Pleased

“For this is thanks worthy, if a man of conscience toward God endure grief, suffering, wrongfully.  For what glory is it, if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

Because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps; who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth; who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.”

1 Peter 19 – 24

Realization

“Realization is the awareness and inner knowing that my prayers will be answered. My faith is evident when I give thanks in advance because I know in my heart and mind that answers are manifesting.

The light of understanding comes to me as I pray and listen, standing firm in belief. Myrtle Fillmore once shared, ‘Heaven and earth listen and respond to the soul that is quickened into praise and thanksgiving.’

I feel God’s presence as assurance, comfort, and love. I continue with prayer, then let go and rest in the realization that spiritual understanding will come. Guidance will be revealed. Divine light will dispel darkness and make the path unmistakably clear.”

For nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, nor is anything secret that will not become known and come to light.—Luke 8:17

Divine Order – A Unity Video

“I am in the flow of divine order.

Nature reminds me that there is a season for everything. Bright red or yellow apples began as a compact bud of potential, unfolded into a beautiful springtime blossom, and then matured into a luscious and nutritious fruit ready for harvest. Each stage of the apple’s development was orderly and essential for fulfillment.

Order is also active in my life. I am inspired with ideas that follow an orderly path toward fulfillment. I give my ideas time to develop, nourish them with thought and consideration, and then take constructive action. I seek God’s guidance and align my efforts with the divine order of the creative process. I experience a divinely ordered flow as I grow in spiritual understanding.”

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.—Ecclesiastes 3:1

Your Faith Makes You Well

“I have the faith and desire to be healed. I praise my body and encourage healing through my unwavering belief of the restorative energy in every cell.

God’s will for me is wholeness, health, and vitality.  This is the blueprint of divine potential within me.  In prayer, I ask to become aware of any beliefs or patterns I need to release or transform in order to clear the way for healing.  I observe my self-talk and my innermost feelings.  I willingly make any changes needed to return to my natural state of wholeness.

I strengthen my faith with every prayer as I open my heart to Spirit.  By exercising my faith and clearing any barriers, my mind and body will radiate the healing energy of Spirit.”

“Jesus turned, and seeing her said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” — Matthew 9;22, Daily Word, silentunity.org

Receive Answers

In prayer, I receive answers.

“New projects and possibilities fill me with joy and anticipation.  They can also bring with them trepidation as I consider all of the options before me.  I may find myself wondering where, when, and how to proceed.  I can research ideas in books or ask loved ones, but seeking external answers alone may often leave me with too many options and more questions.

There is only one true source for answers: God.  When I seek clarity, I turn to prayer and receive divinely-directed messages.  Centered in the awareness of the presence of God, I ask the questions on my heart.  I learn to listen and put my faith in the still, small voice that whispers a reply.  I know what is mine to do.”

“For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” ~ Matthew 7:8

Buddhist Prayer of Gratitude

15826408_813170522147954_218835827212701774_n I am grateful to those who have hurt or harmed me,
For they have reinforced my determination.
I am grateful to those who have deceived me.
For they have deepened my insight.
I am grateful to those who have hit me,
For they have reduced my karmic obstacles.
I am grateful to those who have abandoned me.
For they have taught me to be independent.
I am grateful to those who have made me stumble,
For they have strengthened my ability.
I am grateful to those who have denounced me,
For they have increased my wisdom and concentration.
I am grateful to those who have made me firm and resolute,
And helped in my achievements.

Take No Thought For Your Life

“Therefore I say unto you,  ‘Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.’  Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than raiment?

Behold the fowls of the air; for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are ye not much better than they?

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

And why take ye thought for raiment?  Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin; And yet I say unto you, ‘that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.’

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, Oh ye of little faith?

Therefore take no thought, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘Wherewithal shall we be clothed?’  For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”  Matthew 6:25-32

The Lost Gospel Of Thomas: Unknown Teachings of Yeshua

In these sayings of Jesus, lost to the world for two thousand years, we find a depth of wisdom and spiritual knowledge (gnosis) that is utterly transformational to those who would meditate on them and apply them to the moments of their lives.

Ted Nottingham offers a special presentation on key passages of the Gospel of Thomas, considered to be older than the four Gospels and source material for them. The presentation is published, along with additional material and the book can be found on Amazon and Kindle.

Affirmative Prayer

When most people think of prayer, they think of asking God for something.  However, there is another way to pray called affirmative prayer.

Rather than begging or beseeching God, this method involves connecting with the spirit of God within and asserting positive beliefs about the desired outcome. Affirmative prayer is the same method of prayer Jesus taught when he said, ‘So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.’ (Mark 11:24).

If, for example, one were to pray traditionally, one might say: ‘Please God, help me find a job.’ By contrast, an affirmative prayer might be: ‘I am now guided to my right and perfect employment.’

Affirmative prayer reflects the certainty that we are each being led to our highest good, despite any temporary appearances.

Metaphysicians believe that thoughts transmit magnetic energy and this energy attracts other energy of the same frequency. Whether you are conscious of it or not, your thoughts are transmitting energy that is attracting more of the same. When you remain focused on your intentions, you will draw those things into your life.

Rosemary Ellen Guiley, author of Prayer Works, states that affirmative prayer ‘sets into motion the forces that enable us to manifest what we pray for.’

She adds, ‘Prayer is ineffective when it is accompanied or followed by negative thinking, or the endless repeating of affirmations. We have to put power and intensity into our thought, change our thought, and believe in the guidance we are receiving. If we spend energy on negative beliefs and feelings, we will get negative results, even if we and others pray daily for us. For example, if you pray for a job and then complain to others that you have no job or can’t find one, you are undermining your prayer.’

By using an affirmative prayer approach, we can visualize and plan for the future with faith that the power of God is continually blessing our lives with unlimited possibilities. Affirmative prayer leads to an awakening of our spiritual selves. In faith, we pray giving thanks in advance that the Universe is meeting our every need.”  unityonline.org
