Make Experience The Basis Of Your Faith
“Faith must be cultivated. It cannot be achieved by mere wishful thinking. If you throw yourself off a mountaintop with the affirmation, ‘God will protect me,’ just see if He does! He expects you to use the common sense He has given you. Have faith, but at the same time be practical. Don’t make unnecessary demands of God, nor expect Him to do everything for you just because you believe in Him.
He will take care of you, but you must also do your share. Surely, if you do your best, and always act sensibly, you can leave the results in His hands. Faith, however, must be watered by inner experiences, like a plant. The more you actually experience the care He takes of you, the more you will come to rely on Him — not fanatically, but naturally, in a divine way.
There is much in your life that might give you faith even now. You don’t have to wait for visions to give it to you. Go by what you’ve experienced already. Don’t keep your religion on a merely mental level.
Have you ever felt God’s peace in meditation? Have you felt His love touching your heart? Aren’t these already something real and meaningful to you? Cling to them. Make experience the basis of your faith. As Jesus said, ‘We speak that which we know.’ (John 3:11) Build on what you already know. As Jesus said also, ‘Whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance.’ (Matthew 13:12)
Faith means expanding your intuitive awareness of God’s presence within, and not relying on reason as your chief means of understanding. The degree of faith, and the flow of divine grace in your life, are determined by your depth of Self-realization (awareness of one’s inner experience of God). What you attempt to accomplish by grace should be tempered (or moderated) by what you have received of God’s power in your life.”

Finding Me
” You to whom, therefore, I have permitted failure, disappointment, even poverty, in order to let you learn the false value of all worldly things, their impermanence, their lack of power to provide happiness, their having nothing to do with My Real Life;
You, dear child, who do not yet see this and whose heart is full of anxiety and fear because you do not see where tomorrow’s bread is coming from, or the money for next week’s rent, or for the past due mortgage;
Listen once more to My Words long since given to you in the Sermon on the Mount.
Matthew 5: 25-34
25 ‘Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?[p] 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.’
Do you need any more definite Commands or any more definite Promise than these? Have I not always provided everything? Have I not always appeared with help just at the right moment? Has there ever been a time when things looked dark that I did not bring Light?
And now, My Child, draw close. For I AM now going to tell you the means of obtaining all these things — Health, Prosperity, Happiness, Union, and Peace.
KNOW I AM in you. KNOW I AM You. KNOW I AM your LIFE. KNOW All Wisdom, All Love, All Power abides in this Life, which is flowing freely through your entire being NOW. I AM THE LIFE. I AM THE INTELLIGENCE. I AM THE POWER in all Substance.
KNOW THAT I AM FILLING YOU FULL TO OVERFLOWING WITH MY DIVINE POWER. For I AM within you. You and I are One.”
The Impersonal Life, Joseph S. Benner, p. 234 – 244.

Expanding Spiritual Awareness
“As you traverse this pathway of expanding spiritual and conscious awareness, you will come to know that you are a soul, not a person who has a soul, and you chose to experience this lifetime on Earth. You will learn about multiple lifetimes in various civilizations in this universe, and that between incarnations, you live in a spirit world. Learning about soul contracts and pre-birth agreements will let you understand why some relationships and circumstances are splendid and others are difficult.
You will learn that light and love are the same energy, consciousness emanating from the Creator, the supreme being of
the cosmos, and it is the most powerful force in existence. In this universe, the energy comes from God, by whatever name you call the supreme being of this universe.
As an aspect of God, you are a unique, independent, sovereign, immortal soul energetically connected with every other life form throughout this universe and with Creator. Along with seeing yourself as a multidimensional member of the universal family, you will learn about your powerful innate abilities.
Every step along this pathway of discovery will evoke a profound sense of awe, fulfillment, and gratitude for new knowledge. Yet, the reality of your experiencing is even more profound—it has been a process is self-discovery and what you have learned is not new knowledge. Everything is known at soul level, and by consciously tapping into that vastness, you are remembering what you already know.”

As You Think So You Are
So often you forget the power of thought and you say something unthinkingly or think an unloving, critical thought about someone or something, and then you wonder what is wrong with you, why you are unhappy or depressed, why life is so hard and dull and dreary.
Very often it is your own negative thoughts boomeranging back to you. Try to remember that as you think so you are.
Start right now to think aright about everyone and everything. Look for the very best in every situation.
Never for one second dwell on the negative.
When I say rise above the negative into the Light of truth, do so with My help. I never ask you to do the impossible.
I AM with you always, your ever-ready help when you call upon Me.

Be Strong And Courageous
Have No Fear
“I WANT YOU TO HAVE NO FEAR of bad news. The only way to accomplish this feat is to have a steadfast heart, trusting in Me. There is an abundance of bad news in the world, but you don’t need to be afraid of it. Instead, confidently rely on Me — believe in Me. Find encouragement in My sacrificial death on the cross and My miraculous resurrection. I, your living Savior, am Almighty God! I am sovereign over global events; I am still in control.
When things around you or in the world seem to be spinning out of control, come to Me and pour out your heart. Instead of fretting and fuming, put your energy into praying. Come to Me, not only for comfort but also for direction; I will help you find the way forward. Moreover, I take your prayers into account as I govern your planet — in ways far, far beyond your understanding.
Don’t dread bad news or let it spook you. Instead, keep your heart steadfast and calm through confident trust in Me.
He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. PSALM 112:7 Yes, the Sovereign LORD is coming in power. He will rule with a powerful arm. — ISAIAH 40: 10 NLT. Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. — PSALM 62:8 NKIV. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government, will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. — ISAIAH 9:6.”

Every Moment Of An Individual’s Life
“Every moment of an individual’s life has a magical, mystical quality that is both simple and complex. The simple aspect is that we are all a part of creation. The complex part is that we have forgotten our true essence. Because we have lost our feeling of connection, life can sometimes appear to be tedious and without purpose. Yet we are Divine Beings, experiencing life in physical form, and there is great beauty in this.
It is important to find joy, even in the simple things in life. You can find beauty in each moment, even when it appears to be mundane and even when you are doing routine activities such as chores. Recognize that in every single moment, you can find joy in what you are experiencing through maintaining a conscious awareness of your connection to all that is. In every moment, there is the opportunity to connect with your Divine Self, and in doing so, finding truth, peace, love, joy, and beauty. This holds true in beautiful, breathtaking moments and in moments that are boring, repetitive, and even painful.
We honor every individual’s life, no matter where they are on their journey. Each of us are on a unique path and that is beautiful in and of itself. Take a moment to honor your own personal journey, and then perhaps reflect on where you wish to go from here. There are many paths and there is no right or wrong way.”
“There are hundreds of paths up the mountain, all leading to the same place, so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only person wasting time is the one who runs around the mountain, telling everyone that his or her path is wrong.” —Hindu Proverb
