Abiding Love – Matt Kahn

“Abiding in love has nothing to do with staying or leaving. It is the manner in which you conduct yourself. It’s your awareness of the experiences of others, empathy to their feelings, consciousness of your needs, while moving in the direction that ensures the awakening of your highest and greatest potential. It is knowing that any decision that serves your potential can only awaken that same depth of potential in others — no matter how harshly they criticize your choices, don’t understand the changes occurring, or disagree with your viewpoint.

Abiding in love does not wait for permission and is able to communicate its desires openly. It moves by the flow of heart-centered inspiration that always conveys truth from the peaceful resolve of unwavering strength and unlimited compassion. Abiding love needs no one to be anything but what they are, and can equally create relationships of connection with those of varying levels of consciousness. It will not tolerate abuse, neglect, or mistreatment, while honoring the journey of others, however it unfold

Abiding love is the operating vibration of universal creation. It is the force through which everything comes and goes just for the chance to grow and evolve in the dream of time.

Abiding love is what you are.

It is the infinite wellspring of wisdom you are allowing to guide your every move to the extent you’ve realized it to be your supreme and absolute nature…allowing all to come and go, just as you are inspired to move, by the forces of light ensuring your victory of completion.

As Snatam Kaur says, ‘May the longtime sun shine upon you and light your way home.’ “

All For Love,

Divine Guidance

“It is OK if you do not know where you are going. Sometimes you cannot see your destination until it is revealed around the next corner. Know that your Higher Self is helping to guide you.

It speaks to you through enthusiasm, resistance and inspiration. Find what brings your brightest joy, what lights you up and what brings more love into the world. Follow that path, if you do, you are following your Divine Guidance.”

The Golden Key – Emmet Fox

“Scientific prayer will enable you to get yourself, or anyone else, out of any difficulty.  It is the golden key to harmony and happiness.

This is because in scientific prayer it is God who works, and not you, and so your particular limitations or weaknesses are of no account in the process.  You are only the channel through which the divine action takes place, and your treatment will be just the getting of yourself out of the way.

All you have to do is this: Stop thinking about the difficulty, whatever it is, and think about God instead.  This is the complete rule, and if only you will do this, the trouble, whatever it is, will disappear. Whatever trouble it is, stop thinking about it and think of God instead — that is all you have to do.

Your object is to drive the thought of the difficulty out of your consciousness, for a few moments at least, substituting for it the thought of God. This is the crux of the whole thing.  If you can become so absorbed in this consideration of the spiritual world that you forget for a while about the difficulty, you will find that you are safely and comfortably out of your difficulty — that your demonstration is made.

We have said that the golden key is simple, and so it is, but of course it is no always easy to turn.  If you are very frightened or worried, at first it may be difficult to get your thoughts away from material things.  But by constantly repeating a statement of absolute Truth, such as: “There is no power but God; I AM the child of God, filled and surrounded by the perfect peace of God: God is love: God is guiding me now; or, perhaps best and simplest of all, God is with me” –however mechanical or trite it may seem– you will soon find that the treatment has begun to “”take” and that your mind is clearing.  Do not struggle violently; be quiet, but insistent.  Each time you find your attention wandering, switch it back to God.

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”          Acts 2:21

Slowing Down

“Don’t be so hard on yourself for not having it together all the time, for not knowing all the answers. You don’t always have to be sure of who you are, otherwise there’ be nothing left to discover. You don’t have to know where you’re headed or have a clear vision of the bigger picture.

Sometimes taking one tiny step at a time is more than enough. Sometimes slowing down just to feel the wind blow against you is the beauty of life right there. Wander, be unsure when it is natural to be. Let yourself breathe. We’re all rushing for no reason anyway.”
