If pain or anger has closed your heart, try this meditation: Close your eyes and become aware of your pure, perfect heart.
If it needs healing, ask what it needs and give this. Next, bring white light into your heart until it opens fully. Allow light to flow through your body and whatever caused it to close.
Create a landmark (a word, image, concept, or body sensation) describing how it feels to be open-hearted.
Evoke this, later on, to recreate your present state of mind in meditation and reopen your heart.
Check-in with your heart often, and always give it what it needs. If you are heartsick, so is your life and everyone around you.”
