Be of good cheer. This is not always an easy life – this life of the Spirit is a life of overcoming and of victory, of rising above all those things in the daily run of life, that would pull you down and even crush you if you would let them.
Unless you learn to overcome you will never become strong. A soul who has 
not experienced the knocks in life cannot really help another soul along the spiritual path.
See every obstacle overcome as a blessing, see every hardship faced without resentment and a hardening of the heart as a lesson to deeper understanding.
How can you hope to help a soul if you have not that depth of understanding, which comes only from inner experience?

After thirty years of teaching Inner City, Special Education students and
forty-five years of metaphysical studies, I have decided to share my life's philosophical understandings on this wonderful website. For me, everything in my life has been a spiritual experience from being raised in an alcoholic household, to marriage and teaching, and finally caring for an Alzheimer parent.
