A garden has to be kept clear of weeds, otherwise, it will become overgrown and choked by those weeds, which flourish in fertile soil even more quickly than the plants which have been sown.
So with your minds, pluck out all those weeds of dissension, discontent, jealousy, and hatred, so those beautiful plants of love, joy, peace, happiness, gentleness, and kindness, can grow and flourish with nothing to hinder them.
This is no easy task but it can be done if your desire to do so is great enough. Very quickly replace an unloving thought with a loving one, a negative one with a positive one.
Do it instantly and see that the roots of those unloving and negative thoughts are pulled up so they have no opportunity to grow again. Do it before they have a chance to seed themselves and grow and multiply and get out of hand and choke the life force out of you and take you over.
