” ‘To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it.’ ~Confucius
We can’t control how others treat us, but we do have the power to control our reactions.
Although it’s painful to be wronged, there is great empowerment in knowing you can decide to rise above it and let it go. By exercising this choice, the wrongdoing loses its impact—and you can move on as though it never happened at all.
*Find a healthy release for your feelings; whether it’s venting to a friend or scribbling in a journal, acknowledging and reacting to the wrongdoing is the first step toward letting it go.
*How long do you want to hold onto this wrongdoing anyway? Decide how much longer you want this ‘wrongdoing’ to run your life, and put the kibosh on it when you think it’s been enough.”
