I find great joy in simple activities that feed my soul. Instead of chasing after momentary pleasures, I cherish my quiet times of inner connection. A spirit of loving gratitude lifts and opens my heart. Walking in nature and spending time in reflective prayer gives me the experience of my inmost soul. My times spent with loved ones, learning, listening to music, and creating – these are all gateways to joyful expression.
What matters most to my soul is the attitude I bring to my activities, not so much the activities themselves. I consciously bring my joy to everything I do. Even chores I had avoided or situations I overlooked can bring me deep satisfaction. When I put my whole heart into each one of them, I feel quiet joy.
“For the kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” ~ Romans 14:17
