A Spirtual Ideal Develops Our Soul
“Too often, we are out of touch with the intention (the why) behind our everyday actions. Edgar Cayce recommended that we establish a spiritual ideal to live by. By consciously establishing a spiritual ideal – like love, forgiveness, compassion, and service to others – we can accomplish a personal transformation with soul development as the result.
Then, the more important, the most important experience of this or any individual entity is to first know what is the ideal — spiritually.
— Edgar Cayce reading 357-13 – In part, ideals help to establish ‘why’ we do the things we do. Everyone is, in essence, working with an ideal in their lives. However, not everyone is consciously aware of it. Sometimes when life is at its most confusing, the lack of conscious ideal plays a role.
Since ideals shape our very lives, our experiences, and even who we are in the process of becoming, setting a conscious ideal is singularly important to our soul’s development and growth. And the ideals that guide our lives will change over time as we learn, apply, and grow from each ideal that we’ve established. Choosing our ideal and then working with it to shape our life is a process that can help to awaken our soul’s purpose and foster soul growth.
Since our natural state is Spirit, reawakening to full spiritual awareness is one of the purposes we all have in common. In fact, in one reading (3357-2), Cayce stated that ‘Soul development should take precedence over all things.’ Cayce stated that soul development is not achieved through some great deed or act but is a gradual accomplishment that is attained ‘line upon line, precept upon precept.’
What appears to be most important is our application of the fruits of the Spirit in our interactions with others. In other words, acting with love, kindness, gentleness, and patience. According to Cayce, attunement and application are at the heart of spiritual growth. Attunement is the process of awakening to our spiritual nature and our true relationship with God.
The most frequently recommended tools for achieving this attunement are the regular practice of prayer and meditation. Cayce believed that prayer was talking to God, while meditation was listening to God. Both prayer and meditation are invaluable at reestablishing a conscious awareness of our spiritual source while inviting God’s will to work through us so that we may be a ‘channel of blessings’ to others.
Then, just being kind, just being patient, just showing love for thy fellow man; that is the manner in which an individual works at becoming aware of the consciousness or the Christ Spirit.
— Edgar Cayce Reading 272-9
We were with God in the beginning and, through choice and experience, we found ourselves cut off from a complete awareness of Spirit. In one respect, the fall of humankind was really our descent in consciousness from the realms of infinity to those of time and space. However, this was not necessarily a ‘bad’ thing or an erroneous choice. Just as a child learns through experience, by making choices, and even by making mistakes along the way, our own experiences will help our souls to mature, and that process will enable us to come into our full heritage and an awareness of our true spiritual nature.”

Clear Blocked Energy And Balance Chakras – 8 Hr. Meditation And Healing
Healing Blocked Chakras
“Most people have closed down their top three chakras (the crown, the third eye, and the throat); by the time they are three years old. This occurrence happens when children are forced to conform to society. Most parents of western society do not believe in spirits, spirit friends, past lives, and other worlds. Many children are often open to many of these worlds. This programming causes the child to start shutting down the upper chakras.
When there’s been a lack of nurturing, love, and encouragement in life, or when a child is beaten, sexually abused, or constantly being yelled at by their family members, this closes down the heart (love), solar plexus (personal power), and sacral chakras (emotions).
During the teenage years, the heart chakra often closes down or becomes blocked because of rejection and emotional pain from parents, peers, and lovers. The solar plexus chakra may close down or become blocked when parents and society force teens into molds which they don’t fit in.
By the time many of us reach adulthood, all but the root and sacral chakras have closed down. Even those may have imbalances. Blockages or unbalances do not usually occur because of one single event, it is repetition of similar events, Unbalanced or blocked chakras create a whole range of mental, emotional, and physiological conditions.
‘Each chakra corresponds to specific internal organs and nerve bundles and contains prana, or healing energy. If a chakra becomes blocked or unbalanced, you may experience physical or mental symptoms,’ says Buttimer. a licensed psychotherapist at Cancer Wellness at Piedmont Clinic.
Various techniques can then be used to balance the chakra system and restore health in the individual physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. They are acupuncture, reiki, inner child retrieval, past life regression, visualization, prayer, and meditation. Even a healthy diet and exercise can restore some of your chakra health. In all healing, the willingness to surrender to the Divine and to ask Spirit for assistance is extremely important to allowing Spirit to work for you. Remember to willingly release and receive the help from your Higher Self.”

Love Reminds Us
Connection Is The Real Cure
I’ve come to realize something simple…
The kind that says, “I get it… and I’m here.”
I’ve watched people shift in moments—not because they learned something new, but because for the first time in a long time, they felt accepted.
Finding A Deeper Relationship
“Without the knowledge of one’s inner self, there is little possibility for a truly rewarding and successful relationship. A relationship is not something that exists just between two people. Any relationship involves a multitude of selves in each person that interact with similar or opposite selves in the other. We have to learn who in us is interacting with our partner at any particular time.
Also if you surrender to the process of primary relationship, then you must learn to listen to your partner. This does not mean that you must obey or agree with your partner, just that you must truly listen and feel your partner’s reality. If you cannot listen or you do not hear what your partner is trying to say, then you must find out why this is so. You must continually give energy to the process of relationship and do whatever is necessary to move through the roadblocks that inevitably develop between partners.
Further, it is not easy to find a balance between this process of understanding a relationship’s capacity for choice and freedom and your own need to feel and behave like an independent human being. If you do something that goes contrary to the requirements of your partner, you must learn to understand the viewpoint and feel the pain of your partner. You must carry both of your realities, yours and your partner’s. You cannot just fly off into rebellion or power to prove that you are tough and strong and independent as you go off to ‘do your own thing.’
The key here is that each of us must learn to feel our own vulnerability so that we can feel the vulnerability of our partners. This deepens connections. Embracing our vulnerability is a very threatening thing to do in a relationship because it means meeting the other person without defenses. To learn to live with our vulnerability in an emotionally healthy way is to learn to live in a relationship in an undefended way. This does not mean that we give up our power and become victims; it just means that we must feel our vulnerability.”
