Respect, Understanding, And Discipline

“There is a much bigger piece of you, let us say — the part that is connected to Oneness, the part that is connected to God, the Divine Mind, that is a much greater part of you.  But the ego mind is the part that you have brought down with you into separation, and so the ego mind is, by definition, focused on separation because that is what you have wanted it for.

The ego mind is associated with the physical body.  It is designed to keep you safe.  It is the consciousness process that you have incorporated into your conscious experience here.  You decided to come into separation, into individuality, to follow some of your desires, and you brought this focusing device with you.  It is a survival mechanism.  Its purpose is to keep you safe in your physical vehicle so that you can experience that which you seek to experience.

As a divine aspect of Creative Mind, you have tremendous power, so when you feed your energy into something, it becomes stronger to such a degree that it is all-powerful and all-creative.  For many of you, the ego mind — with its fear of death, its association with the body, and its limited ability to see (remember it is only looking at the present environment, interpreting the present environment)  — is what your space-time continuum requires of you.

You need to balance the ego mind with an intense spiritual practice. Why?  Because everything that you see and every aspect of yourself represents the idea of separation. If you do not balance this, you will be completely taken over; this is the suicidal person, or the warmonger, or the addict.  These are beings whose minds have had the ego run riot without any balance and without any self-understanding or self-discipline.  You can suffer from an aggressive, self-centered ego mind with a lowered vibration from inputting violence or pornography into the mind. When you do not balance it with spiritual practice and the greater understanding of what you are, your ego causes you pain. So treat the ego mind with respect, understanding, and discipline.”

There Is No Bigger Gift

“There is no bigger gift than being at peace with yourself.  Overcome the traumatic barriers that are standing in your way.  If we process traumatic experiences, we can move on.  If we don’t, we may feel their impact decades later without recognizing them as root causes.

According to research from the National Institute of Health, ‘the inner child, whether healthy or wounded, impacts how human beings express themselves.’ -NIH National Library of Medicine. There may come a time in your adult life when you think, ‘Something just does not feel quite right,’ and wonder where this feeling is coming from. This can show up in various ways, such as:

  • You feel emotionally unavailable and closed off from other people, even those whom you love and have intimate connections with.
  • You cannot control your feelings in high-pressure social settings and tend to have emotional outbreaks regularly.
  • You feel drawn to ‘quick fixes’ for your pain, such as alcohol, drugs, or other addictive substances.

Think of them as flesh wounds: Cleaned and treated correctly, they will heal over time.  However, if ignored, bacteria and dirt can cause severe inflammation that impacts your health.  You are probably asking, ‘But is there anything I can do to work through the trauma that took place a lifetime ago?’

The short answer: Yes, thankfully, there is.  You need reliable resources and strategic guidance to help you overcome childhood trauma and negative patterns.  A variety of exercises and techniques can help you live a happier life.”

Ask For It!

The fantastic assistance of the Universe will elude you unless you ask for it.

We all know how easy it is to feel frustrated when we’re having trouble managing some aspect of our life.  We may throw up our hands, lamenting, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ or ‘I wish I had this or that.’  But that’s not asking; that’s complaining.  Ask with intention and trust The Universe to support you.  The door can then open wide for a serendipitous solution to appear.

Don’t underestimate the power of the spoken word.  Your request will hold more conviction if you say it out loud.

Our minds are full of endless chatter.  Anyone tuning in would find it difficult to know when we really mean something and when it’s just a lot of jumbled rambling.

Using our voice helps us get our own attention and focus on what it is we really want.  I find that when I speak out loud, my sentences are far more coherent.  I imagine a presence, an intelligent energy listening as I explain my request.  (I don’t picture this energy as a person, or give it a personal name, but you might like to try that.  Do whatever works best for you!)

Don’t waste even a minute feeling embarrassed.  The Universe finds nothing but delight in being involved with every endeavor of your life, and it enthusiastically waits to hear your thoughts and ideas.  Perhaps say, ‘I now enjoy my beautiful new house on a hill…’ (or whatever you want).

Wanting is actually an essential element in the process of joyfully fulfilling our dreams.  Wanting is the seed of desire, and without desire, there can be no change, no growth, and no creation.  The Universe actually celebrates whenever we identify something we want and desire.  Desire is the spark that ignites the force of creation.

Seed your dreams, embrace your wishes, and open yourself to the magic of your desires.  But don’t forget to ask!  (And be open to receiving!)”

His Gifts Have No Limit

“Who assumes a power that he does not possess is deceiving himself. ²Yet to accept the power given him by God is but to acknowledge his Creator and accept His gifts.

³And His gifts have no limit. ⁴To ask the Holy Spirit to decide for you is simply to accept your true inheritance.

⁸If you have made it a habit to ask for help when and where you can, you can be confident that wisdom will be given you when you need it.

⁹Prepare for this each morning, remember God when you can throughout the day, ask the Holy Spirit’s help when it is feasible to do so, and thank Him for His guidance at night.

¹⁰And your confidence will be well founded indeed.

The Connection Between Your Intuition And Your Food

In Sonia Choquette’s book, “Trust Your Vibes,” her second intuitive practice to increase your intuitive abilities is to ‘get back in your body.’  She explains that one important action to optimize your body’s health and intuition is to eat real food.

She writes, “If you want to tune in to your vibes, it’s important to eat properly.  You can’t eat junk and expect to always be on top of your game — you’ve got to pay attention to the foods you eat and how they affect you.

Many people are sabotaging themselves with foods that aren’t good for them.  Not surprisingly, they often feel fatigued, headachy, or restless, and they can’t focus or take in much of anything, let alone notice their subtle vibes.

It’s not necessary to follow a strict diet to live in a more energetically attuned way; just make sure that what you is good for you.  Sugary pastries, large cups of coffee, salty fast-food items, and frozen dinners just don’t work for me.  I can’t do proper intuitive readings if I have too much sugar and not enough protein.

I need a lot of energy to focus, so when I work, I eat oatmeal or eggs and avocados to help me concentrate.  This simple choice makes all the difference in the world in the quality of my intuition.

You don’t have to take my word for it — simply pay attention to how you feel when you eat.  Make the connection between good food and good feelings, and bad food and bad feelings.  You’ll see that it’s obvious.  It isn’t necessary to become a vegetarian or exclusively eat sprouts and tofu; just make sure your diet is as healthy for you as possible.  In other words, use common sense and pay attention to the connection between the food you eat. the way you feel, and the vibes you sense.”

Water Gives Life

Waterfalls … and water flows … and water gives life. Drink up. Drink regularly of this most powerful elixir.

The body is a machine indeed, a vehicle in this earth school for your lessons. At times it carries you to and through your lessons. At times, in sickness and in health, it is the source of your lessons. In this way, it is perfect, but it does need tending to, and not with sugary drinks, and alcoholic drinks, and caffeinated drinks.

Hear us well: we are not telling you to eliminate these and others like them. Listen to the body. It will tell you how much, how little, or how “not at all,” but water?

Water is essential. Water is Life.

Waterfalls. No wonder you love them. And water flows. Allow more water to flow through you, keeping that most precious soul vehicle well-lubricated and ready to carry you to and through your next lesson.

You are so very loved.
