One Lesson On The Spiritual Path

“In emotional polarization – when the emotional body is positive to the mental body – since the consciousness is focused in this vehicle, the emotional nature is all activated and therefore more ‘active’ whereas the mind is rather ‘passive.’ As a result, the active vibrations of the emotional nature play upon and impact the more quiescent vibrations of the mental nature. Means: Our emotions and desires greatly influence our thinking.

In mental polarization – when the mental body is positive to the emotional body – since the consciousness is focused in this vehicle, the mental nature is activated and therefore more ‘active’ whereas the emotional body is more ‘passive.’ As a result, the active vibrations of the mental nature play upon and impact the vibrations of the emotional nature. Means: Our thoughts direct our emotions.

Mental polarization leads to emotional control (and thus: to inner peace). Emotional polarization leads to emotional victimization (and thus: inner peace is not possible).

To be emotionally polarized means:

  • to go with the emotions (the line of least resistance) and to react emotionally to any given situation (rather than to think it through)
  • to go with mass consciousness (which does not think for itself; mass consciousness, by definition, is emotionally polarized)
  • to use mental energy to gratify lower self-desires

A transition from emotional to mental polarization is not achieved overnight. This is a step-by-step process that extends over many lifetimes.

Here is an idea of steps to take to become more mental in our orientation:

  1. Self-observation (to become familiar with our emotions)
  2. Study (to learn about the nature of emotion)
  3. Training (to discipline the emotional nature based on the knowledge gained)

When we purify our emotional nature, move from emotion to feeling to intuition, and transcend the desires of the lower self into the aspirations of the Soul, the emotional body slowly but surely becomes attuned to the mental nature and becomes negative to it. Hence, mental polarization is achieved and we have mastered one very important lesson on the Spiritual path.”🙂

Our Emotional Intelligence

“Our emotional intelligence ability is increased as we gain mastery over certain behaviors in ourselves that require impulse control. The emotional intelligence model has four basic types of abilities to help measure one’s competency to manage emotional states:

  • Perceiving emotions – the ability to detect and decipher emotions in faces, pictures, voices, and cultural artifacts—including the ability to identify one’s own emotions. Perceiving emotions represents a basic aspect of emotional intelligence, as it makes all other processing of emotional information possible.

  • Using emotions – the ability to harness emotions to facilitate various activities that require perception, such as thinking and problem-solving. The emotionally intelligent person can benefit fully upon his or her changing moods in order to best fit the task at hand.

  • Understanding emotions – the ability to comprehend emotional feeling language and to appreciate complicated relationships among the spectrum of emotions. For example, understanding emotions encompasses the ability to be sensitive to slight variations between emotions, and the ability to recognize and describe how emotions evolve over time.

  • Managing emotions – the ability to regulate emotions in both ourselves and in others. Therefore, the emotionally intelligent person can harness emotions, even negative ones, and manage them to achieve intended goals.

As our emotional intelligence increases, we will experience a variety of positive transformations in our life.  Destructive behavior patterns of the past may transform into more positive behavior as we begin to solve the mysterious puzzle of human interactions and gain a quiet and confident understanding of them. Anxiety may yield to more peaceful, tranquil, and contented feelings as our deeper emotional understanding increases. We start to gain improved self-confidence, feel empowered, less confused, and less frustrated with our circumstances.

Overall, we can transform from confused to confident; from clueless to comprehending and enlightened, from fragmented to coherent, from shallow to deep, and from oppressed to liberated, as we learn how to become our authentic selves.”

There Are Two Emotions: Love And Fear

“Love and fear. All positive emotions come from love.  All negative emotions emerge from fear. From love flows happiness, contentment, peace, and joy. From fear comes anger, hate, anxiety and guilt.

We are living in a time of uncertainty, anxiety, fear, and despair. It is essential that you become aware of the light, love, power, and strength within each of you, and that you learn to use those inner resources in helping others.

There are dreams of love, life, and adventure in all of us. But we are also sadly filled with reasons why we shouldn’t try. These reasons seem to protect us, but in truth they imprison us. They hold life at a distance. Life will be over sooner than we think. If we have bikes to ride and people to love, now is the time to service your own and others’ growth.”

Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Embody Trust Vs. “Being In Control”

As a society, many of us have been taught the illusion that we must stay in control to achieve our desires and gain a sense of power in our lives.  If you have been raised on this fear-based mindset, then you fear that life will always be difficult unless you have a good sense of control.  (At the same time, you were taught not to trust yourself and to only trust the people in power.)

Fear, worry, self-doubt, and stress all come from this deeply embedded unconscious belief of  ‘needing to be in control.’  You are afraid when you feel out of control. You worry about the future because you can’t control it. You carry self-doubt because you sense that having less control makes you feel like you aren’t enough and you aren’t doing enough. You are always stressed out as you tightly grip onto having control over your life.

Whether this is your current reality or not, you most likely have experienced some aspect of this and you have definitely seen it in the people around you.

The path to embody trust is a life lesson for all of us because with trust we can more easily flow through life with ease and grace. When you are able to flow with ease and trust, you are able to carry peace of mind, hold more self-love, and shift your belief system to an uplifting purpose-based mindset versus the fear-based mindset.

The path to embody trust is something many of us are here to learn and master. It’s not about trusting other people. It’s about trusting yourself and trusting the Universe’s Divine Path for you.”

Thoughts About Fear From A Past Life Therapy Experience

Delores Cannon was a hypnotherapist specializing in reincarnation and past-life therapy.  Under hypnosis, one lady named Anna told of her life with Jesus.  Her hypnotic trance revealed some powerful information related to what Jesus taught about fear.  Delores recorded Anna’s trance recollections in a book, They Walked With Jesus.

Anna, Jesus’ niece in that lifetime, had a vision that Jesus would soon leave his physical body and she told Jesus her fears.  Anna called Jesus, ‘the Nazarene.’

Anna said, “The Nazarene listened and understood and accepted what came from my heart.  He told me to walk in love and follow the path of the light, and to struggle against fear.  There should be no fear, for fear creates the darkness in man.  The only truth is the love and light. He gave me that assurance that, as long as I seek the truth and be honest, then the fear and darkness will never gain control.”

During her past life with Jesus, Anna followed him to help in a leper colony.

Delores asked Anna, “Do you have any fear of contracting this disease from these people?”

Anna’s response was, “No.  I have been there before.  I feel that if you do not live in fear then you will keep yourself healthy in mind, body, and soul.  Fear creates all diseases and ailments, whether one is aware of this or not.”

Delores considered, “That’s an interesting idea.  Is this what he taught you, that fear creates diseases?”

Anna said, “Yes.  There are many times in my younger years in my father’s village when I would sneak out to attend the closed meetings.  And I gained this knowledge.  This is of his teaching.”

Delores inquired, “Of course, we always think that some diseases can’t be avoided.  He doesn’t believe this way?”

Anna answered, “No.  I say, though, that one must be a believer in the Source within one’s being.  That is one’s God-center, that is one’s heart center.  If one lives without fear, one has placed a great healing protection throughout one’s physical being and other layers of protection around the human person.  If you let fear or darkness enter your being, you open up a space that will allow ailments to grow.  One can control any disease of the mind or body.”

Delores asked, “Do you think this is one of the ways he is able to heal people?”

Anna spoke, “Yes, for those people that have come to him and asked to be healed have created a healing path in their own hearts and minds.  It is just connecting with his energy, because they have already set up their belief of trust. Then they have eliminated the fear and the darkness, which enables them to accept the healing.  So even though the Nazarene has the power to heal, the person who is ailing has to have within himself his own power to release his fears and the disease of his flesh.  Or if they are not meant to be healed or continue on with this life, they will find it a very easy transition to ascend in true peace and love, and they will go on to the next existence.

The people who come in truth, he can and will heal, unless there is some reason holding back the healing.  He will let them know this.”

With a smile, Anna continued, “I have seen the illuminations from his hands.  I have seen him heal people’s very souls, their hearts.  I have… I have seen him survive things that people might not normally survive.”
