“In order for you to release your attachment to your mind and its thoughts, as well as your body and its sensations, it’s necessary that you follow these instructions to the letter. Sit quietly in a relaxed position, and, when wholly at ease, let your mind take in the significance of these words:
“Be still. And KNOW: I Am God.”
Without thinking, allow these words to penetrate deep into your Soul. Let any impression that enters come without effort or interference on your part. Note carefully their importance, for it is I, within, through these impressions, instructing you. Then, when the vital significance of this great thought begins to dawn upon your consciousness, speak these My Words slowly to every cell of your body, every faculty of your mind, with all the conscious power you possess:
“Be still. And KNOW: I Am God.”
Study these words and search out their hidden potency. Contemplate them and carry them with you into your work, whatever it may be. Make them the vital, dominating factor in your work, and in all your creative thoughts. Say them a thousand times a day until you have discovered their hidden meaning, until every cell of your body thrills in joyful response to the command. Every vagrant thought hovering around your mind dissolves into nothingness. Then, as the words reverberate through the caverns of your now empty mind, you will feel the swell of a wonderous Breath filling you completely, causing your senses to burst with ecstasy. Then you’ll feel powerful waves surging through you lifting you off the earth, and you will feel the Glory, the Holiness, the Majesty of My Presence and will KNOW I Am God.
When you finally sense Me, when you have tasted of My Power, sensed My Wisdom, and know the ecstasy of my all-embracing Love, no disease can touch you, no circumstance can weaken you, and no enemy can conquer you. For now you KNOW I Am within, and then you’ll turn to Me and put all your trust in Me, and you’ll allow Me to manifest My Will through and as you. I will so fill you with a Realization of My Presence and of My Power, that you need only Be Still and allow Me to do whatever needs to be done to heal your ills and those of others, illuminate your mind so you can see with My eyes and perfectly perform the tasks which seemed almost impossible of accomplishment.”
