“The Law of Belief is the Universal Law defining Human Behavior based on responses to the situations they give. The Law states that it’s a human tendency to react based on preconceived notions developed over a period, rather than the factual information on the table.
Even though he might have some facts on hand, his first reaction will be based on his beliefs only, which he has imbibed from the culture he was brought up in.
Belief is a mix of fact and fictitious perspectives about life. We do not believe what we see and what is lying in front of us. Instead, we believe what we have decided to believe. In other words, we as humans develop a belief system based on the environment we are born and brought up in. If a person has grown up in a Negative, Stressed Environment, his mindset will be Negative and Stressed only. He will become Pessimistic. On the other hand, if a person was raised in a Positive and Happy Environment, he will see life with a Positive mindset. He will become optimistic.
Joseph Murphy, the author of the book Power of the Subconscious Mind, has said that the Law of Life is the Law of Belief. He says that our Subconscious Mind cannot differentiate between Imagination and Reality. It can only take commands and cannot think on its own about what is Good and what is Bad. If someone is fighting through Procrastination, Fear, and Anxiety, then it’s the result of only the Self-Limiting Belief that person is giving to his Subconscious mind. Therefore, it is always necessary that we feed only positive information in and give only positive commands to our Subconscious Mind.”
Gregg Braden says, “Ask yourself. What about this situation causes me fear? We owe it to ourselves to examine our beliefs. Most people are afraid of losing our selves to something we don’t understand. The better we know ourselves, the less we fear other people or our own power. Most people are afraid to allow our selves to imagine what’s possible. We have been taught to fear our own power. Just be the best version of yourself.” Listen to Gregg Braden’s videos for more.
