You will want to argue and come up with scenarios in which love will not solve issues. In cases of abuse, in cases of aggressive and harmful actions by individuals or nations, of course you will take appropriate action, … and yet, ultimately, the answer remains the same.
We are speaking now in terms of ordinary day to day, moment to moment interactions with others which make you uncomfortable. Stressing here the word uncomfortable and not endangered or belittled or demeaned.
Think of disagreements. Think of one who thinks differently than you do. Think of one who acts perhaps unexpectedly, bizarrely or again just differently than you do.
How to react? The answer is … well, by now you know the answer. Be compassionate. Be loving. Try it and learn the true definition of a miracle.”
