“There is a palpable restlessness, a collective stirring in the air … A persistent voice telling us to step up, be courageous and shine our light in the world.
So often we are content to sit quietly in our comfort zones … We feel we have something important to share yet don’t have the confidence to speak our truth …
So many mind games persist … What if my truth is different to the truth of others, does that mean I am “wrong?”… Will I be ridiculed, questioned and picked apart by those who think they know it all?… Is anyone really interested in hearing what I have to say?… Who am I to even pretend I have anything of value to offer? … and so on … And that, is what scares people the most, stopping us sharing our truth with the world.
However … Understand that “truth” is not a fixed concept …It is a variable, flexible belief, conti
nually being shaped and verified by our level of individual consciousness and that of other people we associate with.
For example, at some stage we all believed in Santa Claus until we were given a different level of awareness … Only a couple of hundred years ago, people believed the Earth was flat and some still do … Some align with seeing truth in the news and others see lies … The subject itself is always neutral … It’s our beliefs, perceptions and judgements which are fluid.
We look towards those we admire, who inspire us and think we can’t possibly bring more knowledge and wisdom to the table than they already are, so we are content to sit back and let the others keep doing the work.
However, nobody is better at being us than us… We each have a valuable perspective to contribute to the collective consciousness based on our experience and personal filters of interpretation.
Whatever we say and do, there will always be those who are going to agree and those who will disagree … That’s just part of the human experience as we journey through the layers of consciousness. There isn’t a single one of us who can say we still think about everything the way we did 10, 5 or even one year ago.
So by accepting that we are never going to have everyone agreeing with us … Never going to align with all realities and never going to do a better job at speaking anyone else’s truth … That only leaves one thing we will excel at …
Being ourselves and speaking our truth confidently … From our hearts.
Knowing that nobody can dismiss it as a falsity when we are each aligned with our own version of the truth… Our outer reality is merely a reflection of our internal universe .
We are not robots, we were created to be different, to be challenged and grow … And learning to be non judgmental and accepting of others, wherever they are on their journey, is all part of our growth.
So remember…
You were born to be different… You are here to paint your own colours on the rainbow of truth… Open your heart, be yourself and speak your truth courageously … Your uniqueness is your gift … Keep shining, the world needs your light.
