When we leave this place
We each leave a fragrance
Like the delicate aroma
Of a beautiful flower
Left in a room

This aroma is not what we have done
But who we have been in our deeper moments
We leave a little of our essence
Who we have really been in our heart

Leave a fragrance of love and beauty
Leave truth and humility
Leave a legacy of kindness and joy
Leave a little love in the air
Others who arrive will feel it

After thirty years of teaching Inner City, Special Education students and forty-five years of metaphysical studies, I have decided to share my life's philosophical understandings on this wonderful website. For me, everything in my life has been a spiritual experience from being raised in an alcoholic household, to marriage and teaching, and finally caring for an Alzheimer parent.
