Along A Spiritual Journey – Matt Kahn

“Along a spiritual journey, it is essential to realize that people, places, and things do not actually please you in any permanent sort of way. This doesn’t mean you are unable to enjoy people, places, or things to a great degree. It simply reminds you of the inevitability of change, in order to free you from always needing life to be one way or another. As the hands of change bring each beginning to an end, while revealing each ending, as only the end of a brand new beginning, it is the willingness to follow the instinct of each desire that unearths the true pleasure that you seek.

In essence, we do not become happy by always getting what we want, but daring to follow the intuitive impulse that is inspired by the things we are wanting. Even if you find yourself not having anything to desire, it can become an equally potent moment of evolution when not knowing what you want doesn’t have to be used as evidence that something is wrong with you. Some are liberated in the aftermath of getting what they want, while others are liberated by being freed from the grip of need altogether. In either case, true happiness, joy, passion, and pleasure has little to do with the things that come and go and is more rooted in your willingness to faithfully explore your journey on life’s most immaculate terms and conditions.

From this space, you are able to freely desire the things that support your highest heath and wholeness without reducing life into a collection of objects to chase, control, judge, clear out, reject, or deny. When the nature of desire is recognized as Divine Will waking up within you, life’s deepest fulfillment is found in following the flow of each inspiration — whether it gives you the objects you envision or offers endless opportunities to venture beyond the boundaries of who you imagine yourself to be.”  MattKahn, www.TrueDivineNature.com

After thirty years of teaching Inner City, Special Education students and forty-five years of metaphysical studies, I have decided to share my life's philosophical understandings on this wonderful website. For me, everything in my life has been a spiritual experience from being raised in an alcoholic household, to marriage and teaching, and finally caring for an Alzheimer parent. I have sought at least fifteen, personal psychic readings to try and assist me as a wife, teacher and caretaker. I want to share the wisdom that I have gained from following the valuable spiritual guidance from my inner knowing and from heeding the advise of channeled answers from trusted psychics. At almost 70 years old, I am writing, traveling and enjoying retirement in Florida.
