13 Truths To Life – Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey performs a great commencement speech about his 13 truths of life that we all can apply to our lives now to start living the best life possible.  This is especially valuable for those starting off their independent life!

1.) Life’s not easy.  Life’s not fair.  Do not feel like a victim … and more.  2.) Unbelievable is the stupidest word in the dictionary.  We shouldn’t be surprised. 3.) Happiness is the response to an outcome. Joy is constant if we do what we are fashioned to do, regardless of the outcome. 4.)  Define success for yourself. 5.) Process of elimination is the first step to our identity. Define yourself as to “who you are not.” 6.) Don’t leave crumbs … regret, guilt or remorse. It’s about delayed gratification. 7.) Dissect your successes and the reciprocity of gratitude. 8.) Make voluntary obligations. He gives five more practical words of advise at 21:15 min.

After thirty years of teaching Inner City, Special Education students and forty-five years of metaphysical studies, I have decided to share my life's philosophical understandings on this wonderful website. For me, everything in my life has been a spiritual experience from being raised in an alcoholic household, to marriage and teaching, and finally caring for an Alzheimer parent. I have sought at least fifteen, personal psychic readings to try and assist me as a wife, teacher and caretaker. I want to share the wisdom that I have gained from following the valuable spiritual guidance from my inner knowing and from heeding the advise of channeled answers from trusted psychics. At almost 70 years old, I am writing, traveling and enjoying retirement in Florida.
