“Why do you curl up in a ball when afraid or in despair? You call it the fetal position. You are returning to a state when you felt safe and protected, for you had no story.
Only with the story comes psychological fear and pain. Before the story, you knew yourself as Love, as one with that Love.
Your life in human form is a story, is it not? Protagonists and villains. Beginnings and ends you call chapters. But you are far more than the story you are living out. You are creating this story from another level … from a state of awareness far more vast than you can grasp at this time in space-time. Simply trust you are being guided from outside the story and that you are not stuck in the story, for it is also a state of Mind. Fear not. Only when you believe the story is all that exists … do you suffer.
The story you believe about yourself can act like an anchor. It can hold you in the lower, denser, more restrictive frequencies of souls being humans.
The soul knows freedom. The soul knows flow. But as the mind builds a story over a lifetime, this story contains certain paragraphs or even chapters that are like dark clouds obscuring the ever-present soul awareness. Search for these clouds and dissolve them. They have served their purpose if the discomfort you feel, if the triggers that cause you to lash out in human ways, has brought you to the point where you say, ‘I am ready to be free.’
Nothing has changed, dear one, except you took on layers and layers of beliefs and experiences and knit them into a story. And then you took that story and said to the world, ‘This is me,’ when the real you has always been there without a name or story.
You connect with the real you through remembrance when curled up like a baby. Do so if this helps you to reconnect, but know what every cell of your being already knows: beyond the story and its resultant fears and insecurities, you always were and always will be Love.
You are so very loved.”
