The Rainbow Within

July 5, 2026

And God said, ‘Let there be light, and there was light.’ Genesis 1:3 –
The rainbow functions as a divine reminder for both God and humanity; while God does not forget, the sign provides reassurance of His enduring commitment to preserve creation.
I find it interesting that that very covenant is within the body.

The word chakra comes from Sanskrit and translates loosely as “wheel” or “spinning disk.” Traditionally, chakras are described as energetic centers within the body associated with physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual states.

While interpretations vary across traditions, the most familiar model describes seven major chakras aligned along the spine.

What fascinated me years ago when I first began studying these systems was not merely the spiritual symbolism, but the recurring relationship between color, vibration, harmony, and frequency.

White light passing through a prism separates into seven visible colors. The same colors that correspond to each of the seven chakras.

Light exists as frequencies.  And intriguingly, the chakra system mirrors the visible spectrum almost perfectly.

From the red root chakra at the base of the spine to the violet crown chakra above the head, the progression follows the same order found in the rainbow itself.

Perhaps coincidence.

Or perhaps an ancient recognition that human consciousness, like light and music, moves through patterns of harmony and frequency, and even cycles.
